creativity tool: don’t break the chain

Today’s creativity tool is called Don’t Break The Chain. One way to inspire creativity is to make a commitment to do a little bit of creative work every day. Every day that you do your minimum amount of work, you get an “x” on your calendar. These little x’s join up to make a chain and the goal is to not break the chain. Charlie McDonald explains it in this video:

The photo at the top comes from youtuber and graphic designer, Karen Kavett. Every year she designs awesome printable Don’t Break The Chain calendars. Head on over to her website where you can download one in pink, blue, green, or black.
