highlights: it’s the little things

casa-del-popolo

This week, while not particularly newsworthy, had some special little moments sprinkled throughout. I reconnected with some old friends and spent time with some not-so-old friends, my blog celebrated a major milestone when I launched the sale of ad space, I visited Casa Del Popolo for the first time and found out they have $4 pints of beer between 5 and 7 every night and all night on Mondays and Tuesdays, and I got to help a lovely couple celebrate their marriage at the War Museum in Ottawa (it turns out that despite the irony, the War Museum is as lovely a place as any to have a wedding reception).

So, like I said, nothing especially newsworthy, just a lot of nice little things.

How was your week?

That sounds like a good week. Mine had a trip to Montreal on the train–perfect for viewing the leaves and the sunset. I spent lots of time, here and there, with family and friends, walked Merrickville for the studio tour, took some lovely reflection photos and heard some jazz at Options–nice and full!

Wow, that sounds like an equally lovely week. It sounds jam packed with special moments. I didn’t know you liked to take photos, I’d love to see them sometime 🙂
