My Week In Pictures: I am a homebody… and a radio host!

My Week In Pictures: 2013_03_03-09I was such a homebody this week! Craig took off for New York on Wednesday and since he left I’ve been doing a lot of puttering around the house. That’s why six of my nine photos are from around the house… and two of them are from last week! Haha, it’s not that I didn’t do anything this week, just not a lot of photo worthy things. I went to the dentist, hung out with some friends, took a few naps, sent some emails, took a walk in the beautiful sunlight down to the doughnut shop, ate some chipotle peppers…

It was a pretty laid back week.

The one thing that was pretty out of the ordinary and new for me was I got to host a radio show for the first time! About a month ago I was asked to be part of a collective that would share the hosting duties for one of CKCU’s longest running jazz programs, Swing Is In The Air, and yesterday was my first shift. I was really nervous all weekend leading up the show but I was also excited. You can see my look of excitement above.

I think it went pretty well for a first kick at the can, but you can judge for yourself by listening to it in the CKCU On Demand archives here: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/33/11220.html

It will only be up for a short while so check it while you can!

That is it for this week’s update. I will work hard this week so as to bring you a more exciting update next week. Just kidding! I’m probably going to do my taxes this week. Realness!

Have a great week, you beauties!

You look very much like grandma Yoxon in the photo with the red lipstick. Beautiful :). Glad you had a good week, can’t wait to catch the next radio show!
