Happy Holidays everyone! This is just a quick update to let you know about where I’ll be ringing in the New Year! If you don’t yet have plans, there’s still time to reserve a table at Wild Wood Steak & Chophouse. I will be playing there from 9:30 until 12:30 with my good friend, Nick Maclean on piano (fun fact: Nick Maclean was my very first accompanist ever!).

Here are the details:

What: New Year’s Eve at Wild Wood Steak & Chophouse
Where: 54 Springbrook Drive, Stittsvile, ON
When: First seating is at 5:30pm, music starts at 9:30pm
Phone number: Call 613 836 8999 for reservations

It’s going to be so much classy fun! As for 2012, if you’re looking to catch some of my performances in January and February check out my performances page for details. As always I will be playing every Monday at Overkill and every Friday at Wild Wood Steak & Chophouse. Special performances include a duo with Lucas Haneman at Café Paradiso on January 28th and a double bill with Megan Jerome for the WinterJazzFest on February 4th, also at Café Paradiso.

In other news, some of you may have heard Lucas Haneman and I on CBC radio 1’s In Town & Out with Michael Bhardwaj. We played holiday music, jazz standards and some pop covers. If you missed it you can stream it here. If you’re like me and just want to listen to us play Feist’s Mushaboom mashed up with My Little Suede shoes over and over again, click here.

In other, other news, today is my birthday! Hooray! I’m away for the holidays so I won’t be able to have my regular birthday concert but I just wanted to say that I miss everyone and I’m looking forward to returning to Ottawa, rested and refreshed and ready to hit the ground running again.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful, relaxing holiday season and I can’t wait to see your smiling faces again soon!
