Recording is complete

I’m happy to report that the upcoming album which was successfully funded on Indiegogo on September 1st is officially in the can. A couple of weekends ago I was in the studio with Mark Ferguson, Jeff Asselin and Joel Kerr. We spent three days at nCode studio under the watchful eye of Charles Fairfield. Some guests came in and recorded as well, namely Craig Pedersen, René Gely and Frank Lozano. I’m so excited to share the process of recording with you. Videographers Pixie Cram and Tim Smith were there for a couple of days getting footage of the studio time that I am excited to share after the CD is out. Speaking of which, you should know that the official release date of the album is December 7th, 2012. If you’re in Ottawa, you can join us for the first release concert at the NAC’s Fourth Stage. Tickets will be available soon.

Below are some stills from the footage taken during the recording session taken by Tim Smith.
