Toronto Workshop + Show: March 12

Next month I am coming to Toronto for a big day! On March 12 I’ll being doing a vocal jazz masterclass AND a performance at the 120 Diner. Woo!

We already have a few amazing singers signed up for the class but for those of you who have never been to a masterclass before I wanted to tell you a little about the format. Each singer will get the chance to perform 1 or 2 songs. Singers should arrive with lead sheets prepared and an idea of the form of their songs. After, I will spend a few minutes critiquing you and you will perform your song again with the suggestions in mind.

There is space for 8 singers, and I really hope to fill all the spaces because the more people, the more we can learn from each other.

There are also an unlimited number of auditing tickets for people who wish to watch the masterclass without participating.

Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite by clicking here.

After the workshop I will splitting a bill with the wonderful and hilarious Ilana Waldston. The two of us will be performing a tribute to Dave Frishberg. Both Ilana and I have performed tributes to Frishberg in the past so we thought that performing one together was kismet.

Those who attend both the masterclass and the show will receive a discount. Ticket bundles can be purchased at the link above.

Let us know you’re attending on our facebook event!

If you have any questions about the workshop or the show please leave me a comment below. Can’t wait until March 12!!
