Tonight: dave cooper’s Eddy Table and Other Misbehavers

An exhibition of drawings from gobs of looming blockbusters!

With a number of animated projects in the works, the timing is ripe for an Animation Festival-affiliated exhibition of drawings and prints that celebrate the imagination of Dave Cooper! This year Dave’s Nickelodeon short, PIGGOATBANANAMANTIS is in competition at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, his other kid’s tv project, The Bagel and Becky Show is being developed full throttle. And of course Dave’s strangest longtime protagonist Eddy Table is returning after a long hiatus to appear in an epic, CGI, Norwegian-funded short film and accompanying graphic novella. Music for the evening will be provided by Renée Yoxon, François Gravel, and Matt Ouimet.

Thursday, September 19th, 7 – 10pm
La Petite Mort Gallery, 306 Cumberland Street, Ottawa
