You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but have you heard of Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement to celebrate all acts of giving. I think this is a beautiful tradition and it should come more than once a year, to be honest. 

If you haven't decided where to give this year, here are a few ideas:

• Give directly to mutual aid fundraisers in your area. There are so many people seeking money to help with gender-affirming surgeries, housing, funeral costs, other medical costs, and more. They're easier to find than you might realize. Just search "mutual aid" on Twitter and filter by location.
• If you're descended from white colonizers, consider paying your rent to Indigenous organizations through the Niikinaagana Foundation's Patreon.
• Donate a trans voice scholarship to people on the waiting list for the Trans Vocal Exploration eCourse. Donors receive a digital copy of my discography! Click here to donate.

There are so many more ways to donate beyond financial contributions also. You can volunteer your time to an organization in your area, you can babysit for a friend, you can offer rides to disabled and elderly people in your neighbourhood, or start a little lending library box in your apartment building. Be creative and give generously!
