Meet Oliver, Transmasc Racoon!

masculinize your voice without testosterone voice masculinization Mar 27, 2023

I need to introduce you to someone. This is Oliver, and he is a transmasc racoon.

When I was creating Masculinize Your Voice Without Testosterone, I knew that I really wanted to collaborate with a trans artist to create something special for this course. I found Elliott Grinnell, who is an illustrator who recently transplanted to Northern California. He is a trans guy, and so I knew he would be perfect for capturing the transmasculine vibes of Oliver.

I want you to know a few things about Oliver. His pronouns are he/they, but he has a preference for he. He goes by Oli with his friends. He enjoys track and field, gardening, and iced coffee. He is still considering taking testosterone, but he hasn't made up his mind yet. And he wears a binder, unless he is running or gardening. He's left handed, and he is a Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon, Sagittarius Rising.

I'm so excited to have Oliver sprinkled throughout this course! I think you're going to love seeing him as you go through this course and as you take all the lessons. But I just think it's really fun to have cute, positive representations of transmasculinity and I didn't see enough of it, so I got one created. I hope that if you register for Masculinize Your Voice Without Testosterone, you will see yourself reflected in Oliver - a happy, fulfilled, trans individual with a full life surrounded by love and support. And if your life lacks one of the adjectives above, I hope that you can see that it's possible for you!
