What trans voice courses should I make in 2024?

What trans voice courses should I make in 2024? PS: It's my birthday!!

Hey there, lovely people! As I sit here on the eve of my 36th birthday, I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and gratitude for another year of life. Yep, you heard it right – tomorrow, December 28, is my birthday, and I'm ready to celebrate with a big "woo!"

Now, I know what you're thinking – "36? No way!" Well, I'll take that as a compliment, considering I sold my soul to TikTok for access to the fountain of youth 😂

And for those who care, I'm a proud Capricorn Sun, Aries Moon, and Capricorn Rising – a triple threat, if you will.

But enough about my cosmic alignment; let's dive into the real reason I'm here – to share my aspirations and goals for the upcoming year, 2024. You see, I'm a sucker for New Year's resolutions, and this time around, I've got some exciting plans in the pipeline.

First and foremost on my list is a commitment to prioritizing remote work. As I speak to you from the vibrant streets of Mexico City, I can't help but marvel at the realization of a dream two years in the making. Working from abroad has been a goal close to my heart, and being here now feels surreal. So, my mission for 2024 is to continue this lifestyle while creating amazing content for my community.

Now, onto the nitty-gritty of my goals – I'm planning not just one but possibly two new courses in 2024, and this is where I need your input. I'm reaching out to you, my fantastic community, to help me decide the direction these courses should take.

Course idea number one: "Adapting to Your New Speaking Voice on Testosterone." This comes from the many individuals I've encountered in my comments and TikTok Lives who are on T but still seeking that perfect speaking voice. I want to create a course that addresses their unique needs and challenges.

Another potential gem is "Learning How to Maintain a Singing Practice While on Testosterone." As a singer myself and a former singing teacher, I've noticed a gap in resources for individuals on T who want to explore the world of singing. It's an exciting venture, and I'm eager to delve into it with your support.

But wait, there's more! I'm considering a course on "Androgenizing Your Voice" or "Nonbinary Voice," exploring the diverse ways nonbinary individuals express themselves vocally. It's a topic close to my heart, and I want to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table for the trans and nonbinary community.

And then there's the unique challenge faced by trans feminine individuals interested in singing. With their advanced understanding of voice but a lack of resources catering to their specific needs, I'm contemplating a singing course designed just for them.

Last but certainly not least, I'm toying with the idea of a "Songwriting Circle" for the trans community. With a master's degree in songwriting, I'm itching to create a space where we can explore the art of songwriting together.

So, my dear friends, these are the thoughts swirling in my mind as I approach a new year. I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. What courses or resources do you want from me in 2024? Are you a fellow New Year's resolution enthusiast? Send me a message and let me know what you think!

As I blow out the candles and make a wish for the year ahead, I'm grateful for the journey so far and excited for the adventures yet to come. Here's to growth, creativity, and a fantastic 2024! Cheers!
